Terminals and leadframe
The electric terminals are components in charge to establish the electrical contact of the products. We also call them contactors and leadframes.
The different kinds of electric terminals
The 3 mains categories of electric contactors we produce are distinguished by the material.
- First of all, the terminals and leadframe in Copper, Brass or Bronze. Such materials are very recurrent linked to its very high electric conductivity and its welding possibilities.
Large possibilities of grades exist depending of the hardness and of the elasticity needed with the possibility of spring effect if required by the client.
Such elctrical terminals and contacts are treated on the surface with large possibilities of plating: tin (Sn), nickel (Ni), silver (Ag), gold (Au). Such surface treatment is possible totally on the component in case of necessity or we can suggest specific partial treatment to respond to you productivity targets with 2 or 4 faces treated depending of your standards. - The aluminium electric terminals and connectors, also used for its high performance in terms of conductivity and of thermical resistance.
- The steel or stainless steel contactors (annealed state or spring effect), for its mecanichal resistance and its competitiveness compared to the material containing copper.
Our strong experience since 1977 and the partnerships advanced with our suppliers of surface treatment and heat treatment allow us to study all kind of terminal and leaframes projects for the automotive and for the industry. Do not hesitate to consult us.
