Frequently a surface treatment<\/b> is applied to protect the component against the corrosion and to upgrade the component aspect. The surface treatment can also have the function to ameliorate the sliding properties of the component.<\/p>\n
The nut cages or the fixing clips in stainless steel can be procured annealed or harderned, but the components in this material don’t need additional surface treatment. In fact such material is already protected against the corrosion.<\/p>\n
